And, as we do not own the rights to this book, it would be plagiarism to cite the book itself. So we compromise and promote our own methods as well as the book itself.

Now let’s get to the important part: why The Magic of Making Up works. I can honestly say that The Magic of Making Up is a fast, easy read. For me, it felt more like a close friend giving me a straight answer to my questions than a self-help book. It’s honest, understandable, and effective. And, as a Psychology graduate, I can tell you first-hand that the principles in the book rely on well-founded psychological phenomena.

But there was something else about this book that stuck out for me. When I had my breakup, I scoured numerous sites and books. I found that most of them were stuffed to the brim with adages and inspirational sayings. And those sorts of things are nice in their own way. But let’s be honest; what you need right now is straightforward advice you can use. This is why I recommend The Magic of Making Up, and if you find a third the worth in it as I did, I know you’ll be glad you made such a find too.
